  1. The cross is the clearest declaration of God’s love for us.
    • What other ways do we know that God loves us?
    • How do you think biblical love is different than the love the world offers?
  2. Jesus commands that we love him with every aspect of ourselves (Mark 12:30).
    • How has God continued to peel back parts of your life that you have trouble letting go of?
  3. We are also commanded to love others as ourselves (Mark 12:31)—this includes those inside, and outside the Church.
    • How have you found it difficult to love others the way Jesus commands?
    • Where have you found help to do this well?
