Serve

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

God’s desire for his church is that it would be an Every Member Ministry – where each believer serves one another for the glory of Jesus Christ. God has uniquely gifted every believer in order to fulfill His purpose for them and his church. But we understand that sometimes it’s difficult to determine what those gifts may be or how our gifts can be stewarded.
We want to help. If you are unsure what your spiritual gifts are, please take this survey by clicking on the button below. Once you are finished with the survey, you can email a copy of it to office@realitystockton.com. From there, we would love to help guide you to finding the area of service that best suits your spiritual gifts.

Connect Team

The goal of Reality Church’s connect team is to ensure that every person God places in our care moves away from simply attending our church and toward belonging to it. Connect team members serve the church as an initial point of contact for new members and guests, and resources for current members about events in the church. In this role, you will get to know lots of new people, learn about all of the various ministries in the church, and serve on the front lines of hospitality for Reality Church of Stockton to all.

Hospitality Team

Our Hospitality team exists to worship Jesus by loving and serving people through Greeting and preparing coffee. The goal of these teams is to make people feel welcomed as they are entering the building for our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services. If you would like to serve in either of these ways, please email office@realitystockton.com.

Logistics Team

Our Logistics team exists to worship Jesus by loving and serving people. Our Logistics team consists of our Parking and Ushering teams. The goal of these teams is to make people feel welcomed by directing them from outside the church building to their chairs in the sanctuary for our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services. If you would like to serve in either of these ways, please email office@realitystockton.com.

Prayer Team

The goal of Reality Church’s intercessory prayer team is to serve our brothers and sisters by bringing them before God’s heavenly throne of grace. After every Sunday worship service, we have men and women available to pray with anyone that requests it. This role requires sensitivity and discretion because we encourage one another to be vulnerable. But, more than anything, our prayer team has the distinct privilege of reminding all those they pray for of God’s faithful, covenant keeping love. If you would like to serve the church in this way, please email office@realitystockton.com.

Kids Ministry

In the same way that we are a church that is glorifying God by making disciples of all nations, Kids Ministry is seeking to do the same thing for kids in our church and in our city. As it says in Psalm 78:4… “We will not hide them from their children but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.” We are partnering with families to help raise and equip kids who follow Jesus. As a Reality Kids Ministry volunteer, you will be a part of a team that helps deliver a Christ-centered message for kids. As a first step to getting involved, please take a moment to fill out an application and you will contacted by a Reality Kids Ministry team member.

Kids Ministry

Christians sing. In times of rejoicing and in times of suffering, in the midst of the congregation and in solitude, Christians from every generation have lifted their voices to God in song. It is an expression of our delight and hope in Him. In the light of God’s infinite greatness and glory, revealed in Jesus Christ, we echo the words of David in Psalm 40, “He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God.” Our Music Ministry seeks to faithfully serve the church during our times of musical worship together. If you are interested in serving in the Music Ministry, please email office@realitystockton.com.
